AUP Academic Emphasis Day 2015
By: Praise Anne
A particular event happened last September 11, 2015 at the Adventist University of the Philippines. The Academic Emphasis Day started at exactly 9:00 AM. The new students, faculty and staffs, and the people holding the different country flags of the students that are studying in the university marched from the gate of Philippine International Church.
The typical program started and they gave an update about what happened in AUP in the past 4 years and the present. They introduced the speaker and he gave an inspiring message about how to improve the academic life of a college student.
They gave the update on how many students are studying in different departments and the total number of students studying per college. AUP accomplished a lot in the past years, it also garnered different awards in the different fields they are involved in.
The program started and ended typically as it was; but you can see and feel how the faculty are being proud of the university's development each year.
